Disable TV-on-Demand
Hi Guys. I have an all-in-wonder 9600. When I got the newest MMC edition, I found that it forced me to use TV-on-Demand. Even when it asks me if i want to, it still forces me, so I cant play my video games. The help file and ATI's site dont explain at all, and i cant find a way to disable through any mouse menus..Could anyone help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

The newest MMC won't let you do no TVoD.....so you'll have to downgrade.
Be mad at ATI. |

I'm pretty sure I read over at Rage3D that you can disable it on the video input. Just not on the tuner.

No problem.
The help file for 9.13 says that TVoD is always on except for a few circumstances, one of which is when the DVR quality is set to something other than Native. What happens if you set the default to DVD High? Does that disable fulltime TVoD? -Tom |

TVoD is useless......i have no need for it.. and they should not force it down our throats.... even with it off in earlier versions..... the damn stuff has enough issues.. i can't record a damn thing without the video being a stuttery mess... and i've used various codecs and configurations..... i can set the lowest divx format and get a stutter pile of crap...
ATI quit screwing around and do something with the staff handling the AIW series and MMC..... they haven't a clue what the consumer wants and needs... Buggy pile of shit in my oppinion...... Dammit, i wanna start building multimedia centers..... ati keeps this up.. there all in wonders will be nothing but papper weights...

Well... i'm not all that familare with brand spanking new AIWs.. such as a x1900 edition that i'm unaware of that may just work with everything perfectly fine..
But my gaud....if a x800xt aiw isn't working.. something is up....let alone a x1800....

I don't know guys my 9600XT works pretty good after a BUNCH of software mismatching and reg editing..lol..It did run out of the box though. Then again I cannot use the newest drivers from ATI but I can use the newest WDM's and the newest MMC. Kinda funny...
