HDTV Wonder & TV Wonder Elite
The TV Wonder Elite uses hardware encoding so does that mean there will be a delay between what is going on and what you see i.e, playing video games isn't going to fly.
If that is the case, that leaves me with the HDTV Wonder. There should be no delay with this card right although CPU usage would be higher. Any problems with MMC 9.13? |

There shouldn't be any delay with the hardware encoder, because it still has to turn the analog signal digital at some point anyway, which my AiW does, and with a program that doesn't use TVoD I can play consoles just fine. The transformation takes time yes but its so close to instantaneous as doesn't matter.
MMC9.13 has problems so far as I know, check out the sticky on the top of the forum |

Yeah but there isn't any delay anyway when turning analog into digital, the MPEG encoding and such is done by the CPU so again the latency should be so small as doesn't matter.
Hardware MPEG encoding would take latency out and load off the CPU so the 550 and PVR-x50 series should be less laggy if anything
