help with system

System :

AMD 64 ( San Diego ) 4000+
DFI RDX200 Crossfire Edition Mobo
G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit
Connect3d ATI x1900xtx
Creative X-Fi Fatality

Hi guys im looking for help. I installed an ati x1900xtx last night. Did a clean format and install of windows xp. Tested the card with both Catalyst 6.2 & the new 6.3.

With 3dMark 2006 I am getting a score of about 5100.

The problem I am having is with Battlefield 2. Prior to the X1900XTX I had an X1800XL and I was getting about 100fps. with the new X1900XTX I cannot get above 60fps. I have even put settings all on medium but no change.

Can anyone tell me if the 3dmark score is about right for the spec and does anyone know why BF2 would run so badly with this system.

Thanks

If you did a clean format and installation of Windows, did you also install the motherboard chipset drivers from the disk for your motherboard? Even better would be to get the newest chipset drivers from online.

Sounds like V-Sync might be on, either in CCC or in-game.

Yeah and what resolution are you running, jack up all the settings (6xAA/16xAF) and try it again.
