Please tell me I have done the right thing; X1800XT 256MB vs 7900GT
With the X1800XT 256MB being £200 inc VAT at Overclockers.co.uk on this week only, I made the choice to order that bad boy instead of the new 7900GT to replace my 7800GS in my main rig. I have had difficulty locating any reviews of the 256MB version but I assume that it wont be too different at 1280x1024 4x AA 16x AF (my prefered settings and maximum res). Im also very interested in trying out the HQ AF feature for proper anisotropic filtering.
I appreciate the 7900GT and X1800XT are going to be reasonably close in terms of performance, but I fancied a change from my 7800GS. Please let me know if I made the right choice with the X1800XT over the 7900GT or not so I can arrange to change the order if required. Any help would be very useful.

from what i read about the x1800xt is that there is a bit of problems with is. thats why ati released the x1900xt... the 7900gt is new so if i was you id go for the 7900gt or maby the 7900gtx....
but lets see what the other guy say. dont run and chance the order just because n guy 10000 km away thinks so(ME)....
