Need Some Help On What To Do Agp/pci-e Dilemma

A few weeks ago I picked up a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 meg card agp 4x/8x. It was fine with the motheboard I had at the time. Old socket A setup.

I just got an Athlon 64 3200+ and an ECS socket 939 board. Stupid me thought when it said it had a PCI-e slot and an AGP express slot that the AGP slot was compatible with your regular AGP card. It's not.

My dilemma: Do I get a PCI-e card after just buying a Radeon 9800 Pro? If so, which one has comparable performance to the Radeon 9800 Pro for around $100? OR Do I get a new socket 939 motherboard with a REAL AGP slot for under $100?

I would REALLY appreciate any thoughts and advice!

Thanks in advance!

If you JUST bought the 9800 Pro as an upgrade and you can return the motherboard easily, I'd get a new mobo because you can return that and then upgrade to PCI-E at your leisure.
