TVout - no clone mode?

Iv have a 9800pro with newest omega drivers...
I haven't used the tvout in quite some time but am trying get it working again...

Problem is I see no option to turn 'clone mode' on when enabling the tvout. Can anyone offer some advice?

Greetings and welcome to Driverheaven!

This is interesting.

I would suggest that you shutdown the computer, turn it off, disconnect the power cable for a few moments. Then, start up the computer to see if things get straightened out. There really should be some icons in the TV Out area like the ones in the Monitor.

If this doesn't work, try installing the drivers from within Safemode.

Hi, thanks for looking in and offering those ideas...

Infortunately still the same problem. Ive tried uninstalling the drivers, running driver cleaner, and reinstalling, but still the same trouble. Otherwise I have no problems...

I'm 99% sure my tv-out cable is connected correctly, as the TV 'flashes' when booting up and applying various display settings I (as if it recieving a signal.)

Any more ideas?

Well, let's start at this point with getting some more information about the system you're using. CPU, motherboard, RAM and amount....all the usual suspects.

Hi ...

I have a P4 2.0 w/512mb - motherboard is a Abit TH7II raid...
All getting a bit long in the tooth now, but never had any real troubles. As I mentioned, I recall using the tvout on my Radeon a couple years ago when I first slotted it in...Been no major hareware chages since, so I can't help but think its software related, but who knows...

I saw the other thread here and it seems others might be having similar problems
