Upgrade AIW 9800 Pro to X1600 Pro?
Well, I havn't been paying much attention to the market lately, but I saw a great deal for this card and I was wondering, is it worth is to upgrade (would cost me about $125 which I'd gladly pay for a decent boost in performance)?
I'm not too concerned with losing the AIW features, just concerned with the best performance for gaming. Sorry if this is just a stupid question, but like I said, I really havn't been keeping track lately. Thanks!

Unless you desperately need SM3.0 I'd save up for an X800XL or better.... that'll give you more of a boost than the X1600

x1600 pro = $100
x800xl = $160 x1600xt = $130 Id say if you were going to make the decision of x800 vs x1600pro, id go x1600xt ![]() Personally Im picking up an x1600pro Because i only want to play city of villians and enemy territory so it definately depends on what you expect out of the card.
