Got a new video card
Hi, i currently bought an Radeon X1600 pro AGP 512mb card last night its been good for me so far for $250 Candian. my current specs are
P4 2.8ghz p4p800-e deluxe 1 gig Radeon 9800 pro 128 (upgraded to X1600 pro agp) I was woundering if theres drivers out there that i dont overclock my card, and will give me great performance. i currently get 20-35 playing Battle Field 2 and 2142 beta. i heard someone say try the ngo drivers ATM im useing the 6.4 CCC drivers from ATI site also i checked the temp of my GPU its at 58-60 Degrees C Last edited by Sabotage23; Sep 3, 2006 at 04:04 AM. |

First of all: Welcome to Driverheaven! Right now I would go with the latest Omega drivers. However, the NGO drivers are equally recommended. The only thing is that NGO drivers are not as recent as the Omega's. You'll need to uninstall the ATI CCC and any ATI drivers currently isntalled. The main thing would be to closely follow the instructions included. Good luck with your new card.
