Forget Zalman, forget Acceleros X1,X2 get this.
I just fitted this a Revoltec graphic freezer pro and it really performs, it's a constant fan speed thats whisper qiuet, it's lite, that lite it only needs 2 screws to hold it to the card looks very well made and...................
My temps on a X1900XT running at 500-core 594-mem are 39/40 idle and under load running at 621-core and 720-mem I get a stupid 64/65 . Oh and they are cheap to buy, you can get them here. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...m_Coolers.html

Those temps doesn't seem that impressive, comparing to my vf900 on my 7800gt. But it would nice with a proper comparison. |

Ah found one: http://www.au-ja.de/review-vgacooler2006-1.phtml
And it does perform nicely, a tad better then vf900 and a good price, it's also quite bigger, but a nice cooler defiantly. |

Damn you multi-lingual Euro types
, My French isn't good enough to get any more than the gist of the first review...my German is worse...Anyone see any reviews in English? My next big project is to silence my PC so this might be an option...

English reviews are hard to come by Vamp. But if you look at the VGA cooler showdown on Tom hardware site you will see one of the coolers named a Evercools Turbo 2 well its the same as that, I think what some Brit company has done is got a load of Rovoltecs and painted them silver and stuck cheap labels on them and called it a Turbo 2 .
here. http://tomshardware.co.uk/2006/08/30..._uk/page4.html

"All in all this is an excellent gfx card, lowest temps ever and silent as the grave, unfortunately it was assembled with fish glue and even at 22C the output fan makes your computer smell like a week dead mackerel" @Junka - Thanks I'll go have a look and make sure it wasn't asembled with fish glue!!

![]() Its not just Europeans who are multilingual. In Canada, French as a 2nd language is manditory (in this province anyway) until grade 9. Though we learn Quebecois... which isn't quite French a la France ![]() Anyway IMO that cooler looks pretty good but for the delta in cooling performance/price why not just get a VF700 on the cheap when they're clearing out the stocks of them, get temps within +/-5 degrees and save even more moolah? |
