9600 RADEON won't do TrueColour....PLEASE HELP!

This is driving me mad!

Installed COH and the colours weren't right so I updated drivers to:-

Driver Packaging Version 8.291-060822a-035774C-ATI
CATALYST® Version 06.9
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 6.14.10.6635
2D Driver File Path
Direct3D Version 6.14.10.0431
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.6067
CATALYST® Control Center Version 1.2.2425.37188
AIW/VIVO WDM Driver Version 6.14.10.6238
AIW/VIVO WDM SP Driver Version 6.14.10.6238

Now everything is blurry when reading text and I can;t shoose TrueColour32bit from the dropdown menu in display properties, all it gives me is medium 16bit and highest 32bit

Also I now have this in the display properties:-

1: Plug and Play Monitor on RADEON 9600 SERIES
2 (Default Monitor) on RADEON 9600 SERIES - Secondary

WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG??.....I've tried safe mode/driver cleaner and a reinstall and I just get the same result...and NO TRUECOLOUR

PLEASE HELP, ANY ASSISTANCE IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

DId you install newest chipset drivers aswell?

I didn't install any chipset drivers as I didn't know how.........I've looked into it, my board is a K8S8X with an SIS 755 chipset, couldn't find any new drivers for it........any ideas???

Check with the mobo manufacturer...the chipset drivers fix alot of issues sometimes...they are the drivers for EVERYTHING else...lol...if that makes sense...

Thx for the advice

I installed AGP graphics drivers for my chipset from ASROCK website and still no change, should I have removed all the previous drivers first?

Guess there's no miracle cure....lol
