Looking for a good video card in price range of $200-250

I have the x1600 pro 512mb now and it is giving me a bad frame rate. Does anyone know of a good card within the $200-$250 price range that would give me a better performance than this x1600 pro card?

the X1950pros should do you quite well. they run about 230-280 depending on what one your looking at. the 512mg version looks to be the one to go with too.

I'm quite happy with my X1950 Pro 256 MB card from PowerColor. Nice cooling fan, too!

no game or cpu was mentioned

too much junk & the cpu is causing the low fps, too many effects & it's the gfx

though 1600 is indeed slow
