After install Omega Driver The Games Not Working
Hi To All Here
i Like Omega's Drivers so much and i hope it will WORKING with me to play all games i have ATI Radeon 9200 SE and i uninstall the original driver from the Advanced Micro Devices - Smarter Choice - Graphics and Media Processors and now i installed The omega driver From and now i can't play anything i think the problem is the DIRECT X 9.0c when i run direect x and go to the DISPLAY tab i see this notice The file ati2dvag.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer. when i play resident evil 4 i got that error Error Signature AppName: game.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: game.exe ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0024759b and when i play silkroad online game i got this error messeage too --------------------------- D3D9 Application --------------------------- Warning: Nothing will be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected, but your computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device installed. Install the DirectX SDK to get the full reference device. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- AND --------------------------- D3D9 Application --------------------------- Generic application error. Enable debug output for detailed information. This program will now exit. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- so i wating for good solve...thanks |

First of all, you are using a 9200SE video card. This card no longer is supported and will have to use drivers based on CATALYST 6.5 or earlier. The only other drivers since 6.5 to support Pre-DirectX 9 video cards are the Catalyst 6.11 drivers. If you're attempting to use the latest Omegadrivers based on Catalyst 7.1, there's your trouble. You need to revert to the Catalyst 6.5 or earlier, or to those based on Catalyst 6.11. ATI/AMD has stated that they will no longer support DirectX 8 cards. Those are cards prior to the 95xx series. |

D3D9 Application --------------------------- Umm sorry to tell you, you have a directx 8 card. Meaning if a game doesn't allow software rendering (ugly and slow and ultra low resoultion) then the game will fail to run. No driver will help it. You need a DirectX 9 card.... example resident evil 4 system requirements Supported OS: Windows® 2000/XP (only) Processor: 1 GHz Pentium® III or AMD Athlon" (or better) RAM: 256 MB Video Card: 128 MB DirectX® 9.0c-compliant AGP or PCI Express graphics card (256 or higher for High Graphics Detail support) (see supported list*) Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compliant (or better) DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c or higher (included on disc) CD-ROM: 12x or faster Hard Drive Space: 1.2 GB minimum Peripherals Supported: Gamepad

First of all, there are some known issues when trying to run any driver newer than the Catalyst 7.7s on an AGP card. Try reverting to the 7.6s and see if the problem persists. Good luck! |

VPU Recovery occurs when an ATi card either overheats or has a catastrophic failure and has to stop, how old is the card? and have you checked the fan for dust etc? sounds like it is on its last legs I'm afraid.
