Having Trouble Getting TV OUT to Work? Check this.....

After using All-in-Wonder cards for so long, as well as ATI VIVO cards, I've been having a fit trying to get TV OUT to work with my X1950 Pro. It would seem that the signal was working, but, only a BLACK SCREEN appeared on the TV.

Finally, just a few moments ago I found out WHY!

First, if you see some kind of 'flicker' when turning the TV ON and OFF, the signal IS working. Now, do this:

Depending on which Control you're using, go to the control area where you make changes to Brightness, Contrast, etc. In my case, the Contrast setting defaulted all the way to the left. That made it so that there was no image showing on the TV Screen. Once I started sliding that to the right, the image showed up immediately.

So, if you're having problems getting an image with TV OUT, be sure to check this area.
