Thanx for quick reply, I counted on this !

So I would go for e.g. Corsair 620HX instead. If I remember correctly, it is capabla to direct the necessary amperage to any rail.

System Specs

those corsairs are multi rail units.

DC OUTPUT +12V1 +12V2 +12V3 18A 18A 18A

shows that it has 3 12volt rails, each rail putting out 18 amps (same as the neo 550 does)

ill see if i can dig up something tomorrow, seeing as it is 3:30am right now.

Corsair specs:
Triple 12V Rails provide independent reliable power to the CPU, video card and other components with a combined rating of 50A (40A on 520W) maximum! Advanced circuitry design that automatically enables power sharing between the triple +12V rails in an event of overload on any single +12V rail.
Max combined +12V up to +12V@50A (600W)

Johnny Guru test
The O-scope is measuring the voltage coming off of the rail as reported by the load tester. Each square North of the zero latitude is +.05V and each square South is -.05V. Each square going across X represents .02ms. So if we see the line jump up one square, while it's going across two squares, that's a .05V jump in voltage in .04ms.
For the most part the O-scope readings are looking pretty good. Test 5's 12V2 and 12V3 results might warrant a little concern because we're seeing a total swing of .1V (100mV) under this load. But it has to be taken into consideration that this is a 39A load on the 12V rail! That's a pretty heavy load!

As little as I understand, I would assume it could do the trick.
I have found some info on single rail PSUs as well, at least PC P&C, Silverstone and Zippy have some "heavy" PSUs. Availability is not good locally, so that would cause some delays when ordering abroad.

I am not obsessed with Corsair, just happened to read a review, that was convincing.
Also the price is not bad, availability is good, and with mutirail you could get cleaner wiring (perhaps).

EDIT: Found this info from extremeoverclocking.com
Please note that the Seasonic built Corsairs & Antecs (HE & Trio) are, regardless of advertising, Single +12V Rail PSU's, in that there is no per-rail current limiting, meaning that any +12V rail can pull whatever +12V amperage is available. This is also true of the Seasonic M-12's.
The Corsairs are built to higher standards than the Antecs.

you shouldn't be paying anymore than 199 bucks for the X1950 pro AGP, i know a store in Ottawa that sells it for 194 bucks, so you should be able to find it for around the same price in Stockhom.

The Corsair 620HX will run that system quite well. Also being modular it makes for a bit less clutter inside the case. Note my specs.
