ATI X850XT vs nVidia 7900GS

If you were to recommend one over the other between these two cards which one would you recommend? Just curious. I have both cards, but not sure which one the throw in my box. Thanks!

the 7900GS is a far better card, it is more recent and generally more powerful, but if also possible, id recommend the ATi X1950Pro, it is more powerful than the 7900GS,

why would you want the X850Xt? it is a very old card, also pretty expensive if you are considering a brand new one.

The previous two responders must not have read your post, so, I'm highlighting what I noticed.

You say you already HAVE these TWO CARDS to choose from to use in your current system.

Since the 7900GS is a newer card, I'd go with that one as was suggested by the previous two responders since your choice is currently limited between these TWO CARDS that you already HAVE.
