Can I crossfire on a P5n-e SLI mobo ?

I have a Asus P5n-e SLI motherboard and an ATI X1600 512m PcI-E Video card and Im thinking about getting another one and crossfire them. Can I do that with my Mobo being SLI ready? Thanks in advance

First up, welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, no. Being SLI ready means just that, and as such if you want the benefit of using 2 cards you would have to switch over to nVidia.

If you decide to do this, but money is a factor, look at getting a couple of the older 7600GT series cards, or a couple of the newer 8600GT/GTS series of cards.

or you can switch your motherboard to a cross-fire board. however, that would be more work than switching out just your video cards .
