Those pictures make me dizzy.
Is that a graphics card?
Is it still under warranty?
Use Arctic adhesive or get that pin out of there and use a small nut and bolt.

Yes, it's a 1900XT

Should be still under warrenty though I'm not 100% ..

What type of screw would you use? Because wouldnt it blow the card if it makes contact with anything?

If it is under warranty RMA it ASAP.

You can use any nut and bolt that will fit. That is what that metal ring is for around the holes. If you want to be safe then you can use a plastic or rubber washer on the card side.

Or do what I did & replace that heatsink with some copper GPU heatsinks. Swiftech do a set with stick thermal pads so they just stick straight on I also stuck some on the VRM's too. Didn't make much difference to temps but still an improvement. I also changed the stock cooler for a Zalman VF900. Way quieter & cooler.

if it's under warranty, it shouldn't need to be RMAed. call up the company and ask them to send you a retention clip.

hopefully they will send you a new one.

Err... that isn't gpu's heatsink its a part of the power system, since the card is PCI-E and has the power connector.

you could also do with cleaning the card. while you are at it, id take the cooler off and use some good thermal paste, looks like its been in some hot and dusty conditions for a while in there.
