ATI driver not installed...... huh?????

hi guys! ok..... today, i just installed windows vista basic (im cheap) everything seemed sorta ok until about 30 minutes after when i got this error "ATI driver not installed". i have downloaded the 32 bit vista driver but still everytime i restart my computer i get huge f*****g icons and that bitch of an error message! weird thing is if i install the ATI driver again, everythings fine until the next restart (i probably have like 4 of the same drivers installed) where the icons go huge!! i am so out of my depth its un true!!! oh and my headphones just completely randomly stopped working!!!! how?!!! and i live in a shared house so i need my headphones so on a night i can listen to por.........well......uh.

Anyway guys any help you could give me would be really appreciated and thanks in advance for takin time to read this.

oh!! my ATI software is RADEON XPRESS 200 series and my sound thing is Realtek High Definition audio. my processor is 3.06ghz and 1.25gb memory.... not sur what else u might need! hope thts enuf

System Specs

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven.

Just to make sure you downloaded the Motherboard/IGP Drivers for 32-bit Vista? here

For that realtek issue go to realteks site to get the newest drivers. But you need to know what chip you got there so you should look the motherboard specs from the manual.

cheers m8 yeah thts one i downloaded! and think i already have realteks newest drivers (will download again just to make sure). it just hates me. i have a computer capable of hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
