hi all i hope you can help me with my problem,
now i got it already on 2 games on Lost planet and NFS Pro street ![]() when i start it up or try to set the resolution higher i get the blue screen(holy blue screen) then my computer reset autmaticely. my driver is Ati version 8.10 older version doesn't help. i got a intel pentium 4 3.00GHz GeCube ati radeon 2600 Pro AGP. asus P5P800 Motherbord 2 gb of DDR1 memory 250 Watt power supplie. i hope you can help me out

Could be your Psu is too small,Temeteus82 & Dyre Straits,made a recommendation on my post similiar 2 yours,let me know if I am right.Any other suggestions ppl?
Changed my mobo 2 a Msi wich had a extra plug for the cpu,2 give more power,my psu had a extra plug for my cpu.Hope it helps!!! Last edited by Phrozin; Nov 26, 2007 at 09:56 PM. Reason: Trouble with posting |

Yes, that PSU is WAY too weak.
Also, isn't that mobo a VIA chipset board? If so, it would be wise to get away from VIA if you're going to be using ATI video cards. If you don't have any trouble, you're one of the very lucky ones. |

no it isnt a VIA board i ordered a new power supply 500 watt i will tell if it helps

Power Supply
Hi,Morbieson,I don't think you will waste any money on the psu,cause I looked at my manual of my Gecube graphics card & on page3 is the system requirements wich states it needs a 550W power supply or greater(as u can see on the left I have a 500w psu & it works 4 me).Oh,& relating 2 the driver,I already e-mailed "omegadrive" with our graphics card "pci device id' so that there will be support of our cards in his next release of "ati omega drivers"Our cards is not yet supported on the omega driver 3.8.421 release.

yea Asus p5p800
and phrozin that is for crossfire XD the 550Watt and my version cant use the omega driver yet i emailed omega and they set my number in next update so i email to ![]() so waiting on next release yea and what is the problem with VIA |

and i cant find that its a VIA not on the motherbord in the case in the book nowehere

No, your board is not VIA, it's Intel 865PE chipset.
VIA has some problems with AGP controls. So, you're OK in that department.

ok new power supply and he is working
thanks all oh and my hard disk crashed but ok fixed ![]() thanks for help now i going to game without blue screen or something
