X1650 Pro AGP VS HD 2600 Pro AGP

Which card is better for gaming, the HD 2600 Pro, or the X1650 Pro?, both AGP.

Moved to ATi cards part of the forums.

For those cards I would say that the HD2600 Pro might be better.

I really can't say from experience. But, here's a site that lets you select two different cards and compare them.

If this link works right, I've already selected the two you're interested in:

My own personal opinion would be that, since you're still using XP (per your profile) you'll likely do better with the X1650 Pro as it's a native DX9 card.

I'm using a HD2600 XT PCIe card and can tell a difference between the performance of this card and my X1950 Pro...which would be your most excellent choice under XP!

Here's another site that compares the two in benchmark form along with many others.
