They don't want to spend even more on oversea flights or have to worry about visas.

Default Post North Americans should not be left out!

Head over to Rage Underground and check out what Zarathustra has cooked up to make people do to win an R300. (BTW-Nice job there Reid, think this contest has the possibility to turn out awful too? )

Yeah the entries so far are rather crazy! Best one so far involves a dude replacing his left eye with his left testicle. I'm currently working with ATI's legal department on getting a better disclaimer up on the page so we won't be liable for someone killing themselves or whatever.

Oh yeah regarding their driver contest. First prize is a trip to Markham?!?!?! I've been to their HQ in Markham and it's definitely nothing to write home about. Even their special little secret low-volume manufacturing facility is especially unexciting I'd much rather have a next generation product (assuming it comes with good drivers ).

Actually 1st prize is alot more than a trip to Markham.

I will put it in bold for better clarity:

1st Prize Pack:
One ATI's high-end next-generation product
Two return economy class flights to Toronto from any international airport in North America closest to winner residence
Two 1-night accommodations in Toronto
$500 CAD spending money
Visit to ATI head office in Markham
Two return economy class flights from Toronto to Montreal

Default Post Sweet prizes all, too bad...

...I'll never see a bloody one of them!

Sorry for the ribbing about the contest Zar, but dang-it didn't we learn anything from the radeon give-away? I love the idea of the contest and give it about a bazillion points for creativity/fun/interesting/cool, but you ought to put in BIG letters that no people or animals can be hurt and abused in any way for it. (LOTS of disclaimers, BIG disclaimers, 13 pages worth of dislcaimers!)

Oh...and if I offer to kill DW at RU can ltofh win it? Or rageatude?

Oh yeah missed the next gen card part. Still funny about the Markham tour though.

Yes DW if you kill yourself, ATI will probably give your dead corpse the card Like I said we are working on a better disclaimer than the lame one I have up there now. I still don't see how anyone can 100% prove they did what they said unless ATI flies them up to Toronto to witness it. Oh well I'll let them work that out...

You should have it tattoed on your hip instead. That way you would be advertising for ATi when you are at work. (Hint: Gay Harlot)
