Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

What driver version you are using?
And what chipset your motherboard has??

[EDIT] I've moved the thread to better part of the forums.

Alot of peaple got problem with the HD2600 series agp videocard.

You can try the following:

- what power supply unit are you currently using? (the brand, model and how much amps on the 12V and what's wattage?);

- install the latest ati catalyst driver with agp fix (agp fix since catalyst 8.1); you also have uninstalled the older drivers and use Driver Cleaner Pro in Windows Safe mode? If not, do it again, but this time use driver cleaner pro in safe mode;

- what your motherboard, which brand, model and chipset (VIA A7V266/333/400 etc., nforce 1 or 2, sis chipset etc.?); install the latest agp driver and motherboard driver; also check whether the harddrives are in dma instead of pio mode.

- check whether there are irq conflict between hardware, e.g. conflict between the agp videocard and a pci soundcard or pci modem; possible solution: move the pci card to other pci slots and see which pci slot works best;

Good luck!

tcman@ DC Pro is no longer supported and it's cleaning filters are out of date. So the DC dot net is the tool of choice.
