bug in anarchy online
a huge bug in anarchy online while running 2000 or 3000 series ati video cards. all text flickers and is impossible to read. ati/funcom no help (of course)
any ideas on anything i can try? |

i have a idea but don't know if it will work. i have a crossfire mobo (asus m2r32-mvp) and i wonder if i could run 2 different ati cards...not in crossfire.
you see the AO bug is specific to 2000/3000 series cards and i have an old x1050 lying around. the idea is to switch to the older card for AO and use my hd2600xt for all other games. do you think this could work? |

Yes you can run two cards not in Crossfire.

sigh. now i find i have the same bug in hl2. ui is chopped up. wtf? does ati know how crappy their drivers are?!

HL2 works fine, you probably have the wrong aspect ratio set.

Maybe try enabling Vsync? That'll at least eliminate vertical tears. Also make sure you're not forcing AA or AF.
