ATI Radeon driver x200 update?

I have looked everywhere from google to microsoft to calling the geek squad, I am looking for an update driver for my sister's computer. She has a emachine with a generic driver, and works great, but some games cannot be installed, error says cannot initiate direct x, she has direct x 9.0c, the geek squad seems to think I can just update her driver. Can anyone help me out here...I would appreciate it..

I'm new so don't really know what I'm doing yet, but the computer with the game loading problem is a windows xp 64 edition...thanks again...

Sounds like she needs to install newer driver to that PC. I would get older version of the Catalyst drivers like CAT 7.12 since there hasn't been much updates for that card since it was out.

And maybe updating directx to the latest version, and also all other drivers (if applicable). Ensure that xp is fully up-to-date by visiting windows update.
