Why does my screen gets disturbed like this?
when ever the uac screen pops up the screen becomes a mess...then i have to refresh it to get rid off. This happens only in windows vista and don't happen in XP. I used mobility modder and installed the driver perfectly but still cant rid of the problem. My laptop is Ferrari 3400 ati radeon 9700 128mb graphics.
Any suggestions ![]()

Eugh. Mobility modder? Forgive me, I'm not well up on mobile graphics, but is that definitely compatible with Vista. More specifically, are you using 32 or 64-bit Vista?

Disable UAC and do yourself a favor.

It could be a bad driver install or overheating issue perhaps..
Have you tried it with the UAC dissabled.. Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control on or off. Then a reboot is required.. see if that alters the display. |
