ATi Mobility vs Standard ATi drivers
Is there really a difference between the two? I can't really tell any difference at all to be honest.
If anyone actually knows the answer, let me know :] [Don't mention PowerPlay, I already know that's a slight difference, but not much.] |

The mobility drivers are for those laptops that has ATI chipset that is supported directly by ATI/AMD. The normal are for the desktop cards.

Well usually laptop makers has their own drivers..... But some of them let's ATi/AMD do the drivers for them. In any case you can use our mobility modder.net to modify the Official Catalyst drivers to work with mobility card.

I know that, but as in the driver itself, is there any real difference, or is it just a modded standard Cat driver to work for Mobility cards?
I can use either or, I'm just trying to figure out if it's more beneficial to use Mobility Cat drivers or just the standard Cat drivers, that's all. |
