help on HD2900XT

hi guys, i bought the card about a year ago and its been working fine until that day when i launched a game, the whole screen went full of graphic corruptions, restarting at 1st seems to hav fixed the problem but it came back again whenever i launch a game. i tried uninstalling my graphic drivers, then updating the drivers. i thought i managed to fix it the other day, when i can resume playing my games. but today the problem came back and im so furios. now, even during booting phase i get the graphic corruption issues too, i get a blue screen whenever i reinstalled my drivers stating atikmdag.sys. i tried to print screen the prob to post it here but the picture itself doesnt seem to have the graphic corruptions im seeing it on my monitor... pls assist me in this, thx.

Try unplugging the card completely from the motherboard then putting it back it might have gotten loose, if that does not do the trick then i guess its the card itself which has a problem.

Re: help on HD2900XT

this actually happened to my friends card his games would artifact then his comp would just shutdown completely even at the windows desktop there was some artifcating., he ended up buying a 3870x2 as a replacment, and i took his old card, ended up that his videoc ards BIOS was corrupt, the CRC did not match up with what it should have been, so i reflashed it and it has been running fine with not problem and since he doesnt need the 2900 anymore i put it into crossfire configuration with mine.

How do you flash the card's bios? Maybe that's whats wrong with mine. It would rock to be able to use that beast again.
