ATI 4870X2 Custom Resolution Support Help ! :(

I need help from the gurus

My 37" HDTV Hanspree does the following resolutions :

1360x768 @55hz @ 1920x1080p @50hz

Here is where the problem is with those resolutions above i get a perfect Vsync Lock

When my HDTV is set to any resolution above 55hz i get no Vsync locked and that is with even forcing it or useing rivatuners d3doverrider

In the catylist control center i only have the options of

1360x768 @60hz wich is no good no vsync
and at 1920x1080p 50hz i get vsync lock but not good enough i need 55hz for both those resolutions.

catylist control center doesnt give me those options
and i dont know what to do, i have searched everywhere
i heard there was a way via editing the ati drivers

if someone could edit the file and send me it i would be greatfull
or tell me how to do it
or if there is a program that could inject the settings i pick into the catylist drivers so i can pick 55hz on the above resolutions then that would be sweet...

for now in 1360x768 resoluton i get no vlock

when i had my nvidia 8800GTX everything was peachy as i could enter the custom resolution commands and presto took like 30 seconds...

on this new card i feel as though i have wasted my cash becuse if i cant fix this i will be sending the card back and getting a GTX280....

please help.....

Re: ATI 4870X2 Custom Resolution Support Help ! :(

Hey, I have an idea...

Using the Advanced view in the Catalyst Control Center expand the Digital Panel option in the left pane, then highlight the HDTV Support option. You could then try selecting/adding some of the resolution with refresh options shown in the scrolldown menu on the right to the Display Manager.

One of the options that I can see available that might work for you is "Add 1080i25 format to the Display Manager". After that you might be able to work something out in the Displays Manager setting option available in the left pane.
