Hd 3650 problem

installed the ati driver, 8.10 i think. i then went to turn up the resolution to 1400x1050 but the max its showing is 1024x768??
even in "list all modes"
my monitors max res is 1400x1050 (desktop 20" lcd) which i used to run with my old card.
any ideas before i box it up. don't think my eyes can handle this for long.

Hi, ahem, throbber...

Open Catalyst Control Center, go to 'Displays Manager', and disable all but your current Monitor. This happened to me when I installed it too.
