Pls help - underclocking V5200
Hello All
I have a T60p with V5200 graphics card. It runs hot like a stove  Idling temperature with AC plugged is 85+ (this is GPU temp.) . tpfancontrol stops it from shutting down.. But I thought of underclocking the graphics card to bring down the temperature. I do not run any games, just do browsing or watch movies at max. Can someone pls guide me? I have tried all i could do. Power strip, ATI tool, catalyst control center were of no use or maybe i don't know how to use them. I have CCC installed on my laptop, version 2008.0923 and the driver version that it shows is : 2D : 6.14.10.6635 Direct3D: 6.14.10.0431 OpenGL : 6.14.10.6068 Thanks in Advance Cheekoo |

cant you raise the fan speed?
& is its cooler free from dust? i made my x800 hit 95 degrees from the dust blocking airflow |
