256MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 3450 issue

Hey folks,

I bought a Dell Studio 15 that shipped with vista. I installed XP over it and had major driver issues. If any one is searching for the drivers then you can find them here Installing Windows XP Pro on Studio 15 - Page 16 - Notebook Forums and Laptop Discussion
Wickman Studios - Dell Studio 1535 converted to XP Professional

My issue is the graphics card, I have a 256MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 3450.
I install the ATI Catalyst and cancel the install after it exports the files to C/ATI/Support... Then i Run mobile modder and mod the inf files. Then i run the setup.exe and everything installs fine.. BUT when i reboot I get a blue screen. I have tried this using the ATI Catalyst 8.11. I am now going to try it using 8.10 and see if i can fix it.

Does anyone have any sugestions?

8.10 gave me the blue screen on reboot.
I will try 8.9..
