4770 Hits Today
So the ATI HD4770 hit today and from first sightings it looks to be a good performer for about $100ish USD. Say what you want however being on par or slightly better then the 9800GT is pretty good for majority of gamers, just not you lucky fools running 2560x1600 lol.

"A good card for a good price"
Low consumption, low heat, low price but high performance (on a 22" monitor :P) I would like to see a review from Dh

Re: 4770 Hits Today
Indeed a really nice card. It's quite nice to see that in some cases it even performs better than a HD4850/9800GTX(+), probaly due to the GDDR5.
At the moment the prices here in the Netherlands are ~90 euro. The HD4830 is often somewhat more expensive, but you can get one really cheap second-handed (?) for around ~65 euro. Still ATI has some competition because you can get a 9800GT for 93 euro here and a GTS 250 for 110. That's while the HD4850 is still hanging around the ~115. Hopefully this will mean that all the cards will lower in price in that segment. Two HD4770's in CF is quite impressive I think
