ATI 9.5 Drivers
ATI 9.5 Drivers are out. Got the download from Beta news, however it is still not being uploaded on ATI site wherein it shows 9.4. Installed without a flaw. From my point of view I can hardly notice any appreciable changes. Well for gamers perhaps it should be interesting. Thank God this version does not install the that darn trial game.

Re: ATI 9.5 Drivers
They are not officially released... So they are unsupported drivers..
They still have not been relesed by AMD/ATI. |

Re: ATI 9.5 Drivers
Well according to Catalyst Maker they were scheduled for Friday. Which I posted, They are WHQL certified. Which means, yes, unless ATI defrauded MS. They are "supported"..
It would be very hard for a company to certify drivers for windows, and then release them saying they are unsupported because despite even the most abusive TOS, You are actually liable for damages if said "WHQL" signed stuff "permanently damages" any component. As it breaks other laws, I wish people would stop saying these drivers arent supported. They are. If you don't want to take the plunge because AMD hired the *worst* coder/updater for their website, that's your business, but just because there's no official link. Doesn't mean they aren't a supported driver. You submit them for WHQL certification and MS has your ass. Why do you think that Lawsuit over Vista "Capable" was allowed to go through? Same principle OEMS, putting "substandard parts" in machines "signing them off" as Vista certified, they sucked, they get sued, Now no machine has less then 2 GBs of memory, hard drives are all over like 500 gigs now, and even Intels graphic cards suck less. Bam, Welcome the the legal world of don't put a sticker on it unless you're gonna back up your claims. Terry Makedon (CatalystMaker) on Twitter http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/winlogo/default.mspx And AMD put a big fat "we love Win7 sticker" the first day http://www.slashgear.com/amd-receive...ogram-0643028/ I am sure they aren't going to leak unsupported drivers. Re: ATI 9.5 Drivers
And from three other sources they were report red to be released last Wednesday.
As it's only said on Twitter..He may just be teasing those who follow twitter. They may be whql signed but may still be leaked. (Admin has mentioned before that we (As in Staff) can't make the actual discussion threads until they are Officially released.Uless otherwise instructed to do so. ) EDIT: These may not be the reference drivers from ATI. Re: ATI 9.5 Drivers
specific drivers while WHQL certified.... usually for use by other manufacturers and whatnot aren't technically a supported Driver as a general Reference driver for all cards.
It's not liable to state it as so. You can have an official WHQL certified driver "leak" and ATI not have to support it, obviously they will just tell you to install the ones one their site. I mean the Windows 7 Drivers they provide are WHQL certified.. but still aren't supported... then again it all depends on how you wish to define support....
