ati radeon hd3650 agp card problem

hey guys,
i really need some help from u...
i just bought the saphire hd 3650 512 mb ddr2 agp card as a last update for my old. now the problem is when i installed it in the 8x agp slot on my mobo, it gives me only blank screen even the boot screen is not coming up though the computer is booting. i did connected the powercable to the card.
my sys. config is p4 2.4ghz
motherboard asrock p4i45gv and 512 mb ram.

please help,i dont wanna throw this card just like that.........

What card did you have previously?

Usually you will get a boot screen even if the onboard graphics is selected in BIOS. A quick check to suggest would be to pull the card then set the BIOS to AGP for primary graphics. Then shutdown and reinstall the card and boot.

previously i was using the onboard graphic port....
well, i tried doin what u've suggested...but no effect

i even updated to the latest bios..but still blank screen...

So you could reboot with onboard after removing the card?

Sounds like you have a bad card I would suggest RMA.
