??? ATI Issues with City of Heroes

Hello,
I've been playing a game called City of Heroes for quite some time, www.coh.com
And I have had some issues in the past with lockups with my ATI Radeon 9550 graphics card...
Here is a link showing some of the ATI issues the game has https://boards.cityofheroes.com/show...8661590&page=0
I've asked on the site as well as the tech support but they don't have accurate info on Omega drivers, my main problem is the "Contact and Character Information Windows"
The main reason I downloaded Omega Drivers was because it could force "fast writes" and I have noticed a HUGE difference in other games, but absolutely NO difference in this game at all. The good side is that almost everything EXCEPT this game can run in high quality with no problems were as before running in medium gave me serious lag.

If anyone has info on this or can be of assistance that would be greatly appreciated!

I am also running the game on the bare minimum and still having lag in almost every single area.
And to wrap it up heres some info on my computer taken from dxdiag, if more is needed let me know...

Re: ATI Issues with City of Heroes

I don't know man, it's a pretty old card and the CoH forums are nothing but complaints about old cards and the game. The last supported drivers from ATI are the 9.3 Cat drivers though so you might want to try them as the Omega drivers are over a year old.

Link to the drivers are http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/radeonaiw_xp.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.25〈=E nglish

Guess try those and see what happens.
