Ati radeon x1300

I recently installed the latest drivers and I'm having problems. It says "could not load file or assembly 'CLI.Implementation' " when I click on CCC

I have issue with stuttering of audio/video playback on youtube and local movies. But heres the thing, I can play games just fine. There's no problem. My computer also takes a much longer time to boot up now and when it does, the Windows theme stutters and is stretch out.

Is there a printout I can get that could tell me what the problem is. Should I delete everything related to ATI in the registry, and reinstall the drivers. I even used driver sweeper before I reinstalled these drivers this time. I thought I did everything right.

Oh, also, you should know that I have all .net frameworks. I found a little program that tells you what you have. I'm compatible with everything up to 3.5.

Please help, thanks in advance.

Re: Ati radeon x1300

I'm thinking that deleting all of the ATi stuff and reinstalling would be your best bet. Seems to me you are only having problems with the 2D end which is interesting. as far as the stretching goes, did you set your resolution properly? I'm a bit unclear with the stretching issue you are talking about.

Re: Ati radeon x1300

Yes I set the resolution properly 1600x1200. The stretching was referring to the sound of the windows theme when you boot into windows.
What I mean is that the sound is stretched out and cut up, almost like it was edited in an audio program. It skips and its longer and slowed down (sluggish). Maybe i'll make a recording of what it sounds like.

What I though was, maybe the registry or the drivers are fragmented or corrupted. I uninstalled a bunch of bloatware recently, mainly HP software for cameras/printer. I also uninstalled divx, but still have klite codec pack.

I installed this registry cleaner and it found a bunch of problems and fixed it, according to the program, but the problem is still there. I also defragged the registry, and still no luck.

I did what you described though. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I even did it with just the dispay driver and no CCC. I also uninstalled the .net framework when I only had the display driver, because I thought maybe that was corrupted too.

I think I might just go ahead and format and do a clean install. I don't know what else would cause this, it hasn't happened before and doesn't make any sense.

Anyways, if you have any other ideas base on what i've told you, let me know. Thanks.
