Ati 5000 series vs nvidia 9300 IGP

im not so sure about what you are asking......

but in terms of gaming performance, the 5870 gpu probably would be something around.... at minimum 40-50x the computing performance of the 9300 gpu..... thats alot of additional power....

I think in terms of everything the 5000 series would be 40 - 50x better...

The 9300 is basically a 2005 technology (since it is more or less a rebranded 8000 series) and a low end model at that.
In theory any model of the 5000 series would be faster, but since I haven't seen anything about the low end models of the 5000s I can't say for certain. Anything 5700+ should be MANY times faster than the 9300.

This is kind of a ridicuous question... they're designed for totally different briefs. Is this a question of bragging rights or are you actually choosing between the two?
