I just recently installed windows 7 pro on my laptop and am experiencing a video playback issue. When I play movies from sites such as hulu and put it in fullscreen, the video framerate is slow. The driver for my graphics card has not been updated for windows 7, so I tried the mobility modder with the latest vista catalyst drivers and no effect. Anything else I can try? My video's came in clear when windows xp pro was installed before. My computer specs are below.

Intel Centrino Duo Processor 2.16ghz
3gb Ram
ATI FireGL V5200 256mb graphics card
100gb hard drive

It contains streaming video files (not sure of the format), which are opened by Adobe flash player 10. So it is kind of like youtube in a sense, except the videos usually are of higher quality (and they place advertisements in them but that's besides the point). Hope that helps

Well, if this is the only problem it makes more sense that the problem lies with either your browser, or the flash add-on, more than the gpu drivers.
IF (and I hope it is) your browser is updated, have you tried to also update flash?

FIXED!

I decided to look into the flash player (Thank you BlueMak!) while it was running by right clicking the video and clicking Settings. One of the first screens says "enable hardware acceleration", and it's checked as running. I unchecked it and now it works fine. I don't know why I have to change it now for windows 7, cause I never did that before with xp. Regardless, they stream perfectly now. Thanks again for your advice BlueMak!
