Radeon 9600 Pro or O/C'd 9600
Just purchased a Powercolor Radeon 9600 Pro EZ from a local PC shop. It was sold to me as a 9600 Pro card...EZ version. Out of curiosity I did a search for the GPU P/N:
215R8KAGA12F G41064-1 0330AA Taiwan See link: http://www.diysky.net/ShowArticle.asp?ArticleID=1163 At the bottom of the page there is a list of GPU part numbers. It seems as though I received an overclocked 9600 rather than the Pro version. Default clock values: 400 / 200 (400 DDR) Just trying to get some input |

i would suggest taking the card back. the 'ez' means that it's a lower clocked 9600 with crappy memory.
default 9600 pro's are clocked at 400/300(x 2)

Listen to Junk. He speaks the truth. Don't let yourself get a crap 9600PRO, those things can be monster clockers for the core.

Thanks for all the input...I picked up a connect 3D 9500 non-Pro today. Applied the soft -mod and ended up with these results:
3dmark 2003: 4409 Aquamark: 32668 3dmark 2001se: 14369 At stock clock rates. I think the 9600 EZ goes back! |

ti4800se = ti4400 with 8x agp ti4680 = ti4200 with 8x agp the numbers make you think that the card you're getting is better than a ti4600..
