I was wondering if any of yall could tell me a good motherboard for Athlon XP 2500+ that can support the new Radeon 9800 XT 256MB at a good price. If anyone lives in the Arlington, Tx area it would be nice to know some mobos from Fry's that I could get there for a good deal. But any deal I can get would be appreciated.

I have the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP. Great board
I have the 9800XT and a barton 2600+. Just keep an eye on your northbridge fan though, I would recommned yanking it and the HSF and installing some passive Zalman cooling as the boys here recommended for me to do (which I did!).

I've got the Abit NF7-S rev 2.0, imo it's one of the best mobo's if you want to OC, since your xp 2500+ can easely run at 3200+ speed with a decent cooler.
Also it doesn't really matter which mobo you take, but if you plan to OC get the Zalman Passive Northbridge cooler, cools much better then the NorthBridge coolers supplied by the mobo companies. Don't know about any good deals though, but you should see if you can get the Abit mobo. just my 2 cents
