ordered a 3D Prophet 9800XT 256MB

I have made my decission and ordered a 3D prophet 9800XT 256MB (Hercules), is this card using the reference-model? Is this a good decission?

Maybe some info

*update*: they just called me and the graphical board is arrived in the store

Its a built by ATI board really so it will be good quality

yeah, think Hercules has made some excellent 3Dboards the last years, & soundcards too

Maybe wise to check this out to see if you have a powerfull enough PSU.

Yeah Ive just installed mine on Tuesday after a long wait here in the UK. Must say card is superb and runs flawless on the highest settings on all my games etc. Only down side I thought was the software package or rather lack of one. Half life2 voucher yes but that was it! ANd when are we going be able to get that!
Anyhow a superb investment for anyone upgrading from anything upto 9700pro,.

Yes just played UT2003 and Max payne 2, everything is on max at 1024x768 at 32

i think it would be wise to upgrade to at least a 400w psu you don't want to burn out anything do you.
