ATI Radeon 9800 Pro power connection
I am a recent convert to ATI, having used NVIDIA cards for years and I have question concerning the power. The manual shows the connection with the hard drive. My question is this: would the card be any more stable if I connected the power directly to a lead from the power supply, or should I use the connection as suggested by ATI ??? My power supply is an ANTEC True Power 480 watt. Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated...

You have no need to conect it to the hard drive you can just conect it directly to the power suply.

They show it that way for those with limited number of molex connections from their power supply I figure....
