Radeon 8500?

How much will the 8500 price go down when 9700 comes out for consumers?

I dunno.. its already at ~90$ for an LE... it don't get much cheaper than that. I woudldn't expect prices to go any lower than 70$ though... it costs them more to make the cards

If you are planning on buying a card... save your money and go for the 9700 when it comes out.

Like I have a feeling if you're smart you'll be able to find some steals on here in the "used bits" section as current 8500 owners rush to unload theirs as the 9700 is released.
