Heh, I coined a phrase that ATI could use if they came up with a feature similar to 'Digital Vibrance'. I call it "Radiance Level". It would be cool if that feature got added and they used that name. It would make me feel special.

i agree it would be a great feature to add to the Cats control panel
and Radiance level does have a certain ring to it!

Crash Override is an unknown quantity at this point

A well built monitor and video card dont require the artificial saturation that is called Digital Vibrance.

My colors are as vibrant as I could want them to be just from adjusting the color control panel in the drivers and by adjusting my monitors color balance and contrast/brightness ratios properly

true...but!
my games are set up just how i like them but id like the desktop to look a little brighter, thats all.
if i change my colours on my monitor to make my desktop look more vibrant then my ingame graphics wil change also

why not turn up the contrast then on the ATi control panel?

that usually fits the bill for having a slightly brighter and more vibrant desktop

my usual thing for mine is to turn up the contrast and lower the brightness and gamma

Im currently running my monitor at these settings in the ATi Desktop portion of the Control Panel

Gamma: .91
Brightness: - 4.00
Contrast: 122.00

not a prob

it makes the screen a bit brighter but without oversaturating the colors so they still look soft where they are supposed to

call me picky

the only problem is , i liked the oversaturated colours
or maybe my monitor is just crap , and thats the reason , that everything looks gray in gray ...
