Video Lag I think...
I built a new system about two weeks ago, and from day one I have been having some weird video or mouse lag I can't tell. When I play ut and ut2k3 on high or even lowest settings I get weird lag. It's like the crosshair, and cursor can't keep up with the actual movement of the mouse almost like it's falling behind. I have upgraded the drivers for the mouse, and video card, and mother board drivers but nothing helped.
A few of my friends told me to disable APIC in the BIOS and see if that would help, but it didn't, I also put the video card on it's own IRQ but no luck getting rid of what ever this is. Here is my hardware maybe someone can help me figure this out. Abit NF7-s Rev 2.0 (Nforce 2) Amd XP 2500+ o/c 3200+ Kingstin 256MB of ddr ATI Radeon 9600XT 128 Logitech mx500 2 40gig harddrives Sony Dvd burner 300W Antec PSU |

Well, one thing that may (probably not) be cuasing the problem is your 300W PSU. Your computer has to be pushing the envelope with only 300w. You might want to set the mouse to be more sensitive, or see if it happens in another game, such as RTCW: ET.

If your planning on playing ut2k3 get another 256 chip! They have registry tweaks out there for the ati cards to clean up mouse lag... you need to check out all of the ut sites. Is it wireless mouse? If it is, there is known problems with mouse lag and wireless mice.
