probs wif prince of persia sands of time

just wanna know does this game hav any problems wif the ati card?i can't seem to play the game i can watch the cinematics but other then that the game is very blur like lots of fog heavy fog can just make out the outline of the characters.
my specs are barton 2500, 40G WD, power color 9800 pro catalyst 3.2, nvidia sound storm, kingston 512 ddr400, DFI lanparty nforceII ultra, philips 107E
do i need to jus update the graphic driver or wat???

by the way where can i get the new drivers like the omega n catalyst which r the best ones??plz recommand the best one which suits my graphic card thankx a bunch

..... Ati supplies the Cat 3.10 now... you can find them at there site: www.ati.com/ or the direct link: http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html .... Omega's are at his site : http://www.omegacorner.com/ or click the direct link to his ati driver page.. (click on your OS on the left hand colum...) : http://www.omegacorner.com/index_ati.html .. Version 3.10 is ATI set... good... probably best for novice users..... 2504 is omegas latest set based on the cat 3.10

I had a great solution fro the problems I had with this game, I went to control panel, add/remove programs, then clicked unintstall..

Sorry, but that's really what I did.

Just experiment with "water affects" - you will see a big difference in the way antialiasing works with that setting.

that doesn't really help the guy out, since he want's to play the game.

Try this:

1. uninstall the current driver you have installed
2. run drivercleaner which can be downloaded from driverheaven Link
3. download the newest driver from ati.

and optionally:

4. download the newest omegadriver ( when you choose this first install the ati driver but do NOT install the control panel, and install this driver over the ati driver) Http://www.omegacorner.com

If that still doesn't work:

1. uninstall the game
2. run a reg cleaner
3. reinstall the game

and finally if that doesn't work:

A windows reinstall would be recommended with all the latest drivers.

But the answer is to Format C: ? I think not- There are known issues with the water affect in that game, that's why I wrote the second half of my post which you neglected to quote which will help the guy if he doesn't know about the issue.. What makes you think he has bad windows install? If he's using cat 3.2's then that's probably the problem, or a bad driver install.

Turn down the special effects bar ingame settings . this will fix your problem.
