Bright after gaming

Hi. I've just started experiencing a problem, whenever I play a game - afterwards when I resume back to WindowsXP everything is bright and I have to reset brightness! Can someone help me please?

What drivers? What game?

Is it happening with all games?

Did you configure a game profile?

it a bug possably... is the game exiting properly? if it doesn't that will happen...

So far its happened to LOTR: Fellowship of the ring and Unreal Tournament. The only game so far that hasn;t is Far Cry.

It's a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB on ATI CAT 4.1's

Kinda sounds like me exiting of a game of half life, and upon the desktop coming back on the backgorund screen (wallpaper) is gone, have to always reset it back....It happens with all games on comp, Half life,max payne 1 &2 and Grand auto Vice....

Newest omegas, yet also did with newest cats also...i think a few sets back it wasnt doing this, but for not the loss of speed i stay current, but it would be nice if this would get fixed....

I have the same problem coming out of Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2.......but thats the only game that does that on my computer

Tis very strange. It doesnt actually happen anymore. Although when I played LOTR it was extremely dark INSIDE the game and I had to change it. bizzare!
