Woooohoooo it worked i was able to use a hercules 8500 128 meg bios and edit the clock speeds back to what the 8800 has now there are no issues in gaming with my 8800 my freind that gave it to me said he couldnt play halo with this card and there was afew shader issues in other games after flashing bios all games run fine and stable i have the core @ 275 and ram @300 (600) i used rad edit to change the 8500 bios i used from core @ 275 ram @ 275(550) all in all i'd say it was a sucess btw my 3dmark score was 9323 that was @ 1024x768 all on high no aa no fsaa let me know what you think and if you have an 800 gl fire you want to mod i can give you the info and bios that i have
