Pissed HELP! CAN'T ENABLE AGP ON 9700 pro!!!

Ok, so i got my new 9700 pro, and installed catalyst 4.1, ran dxdiag...and agp is not available!!! wtf? I checked 3dmark03 -> system...AGP memory is 0!!!(local mem 128, etc.) I made sure the Bios settings are good, primary VGA bios = AGP, all AGP settings enabled, etc. What is the problem? I kept uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, eachtime using nasty file cleaner to clean the drivers, to no avail. I tried using omega drivers - same thing. Anyone help please? These are my specs:

Athlon 1.4Ghz
Asus A7M266 mobo
512mb ddr ram
Soundblaster Live 5.1
ATI Radeon 9700 pro

here is my DXDIAG results(minus the sound and stuff):

Btw, I do have all the AGP drivers and 4 in 1 drivers for my mobo installed, in fact, my old Geforce 3 was recognized as AGP everytime

Is this a fresh OS install or was the GF3 installed on this particular Windows install?

If it was the same install I would recommend formatting and going it from scratch

Nothing like a fresh system to make sure nothing can go wrong

I use nasty file remover.

Btw, I tried manually enabling AGP read in Smartgart(not the basic one, the one in the ATI control panel folder), and it would tell me to reboot, but as soon as i reboot and get to the deskstop, the computer would reboot again by itself, and revert to original settings!(agp read and write both off).
