Aiw 9700 pro bios
Does anyone know if there is a newer bios out for this card i am getiing horizontal lines in my display dosen't atter if i am surfing the web or playing games. I updated all drivers everything new monitor gateway vx930 i have tried all refresh rates still the same thing. It's really starting to bug the hell out of me i did the ati problem report and will attach it. If anyone has a clue to help me out it will be greatly appreciated thank you...

How about BIOS setings?
I noticed that in you problem repport it says that your card i PCI. Matbe your BIOS is not set correct.
Try to adjust your bios setings. What type of card is it you have, I have a Power Color 9700 AIW, If you wnat I can mail you my BIOS Rubino |

mine is just a regular ati all in wonder 9700 built by ati.. does my video bios look old? should i have it set to agp instead of pci in bios i dont do much with the mobo settings since i dont know what it will do ?

or are you saying it is a pci based card not an agp based card? if so that could be the problem cause i have it plugged in my mobo in the agp slot? I am confused and fustrated.....

The report shows it's running in agp mode ..I wouldn't change the setting in the bios it will do nothing for your problem.

I have the gateway monitor drivers loaded that go with my monitor i have also tryed the default plug and play driver and it made no difference. I just changed the ati drivers to the new omegas it helped a little bit but not much still see the horizontal lines I think after all that i have done fresh install updated all drivers except bios because there is no updates for that i think i am narrowing it down to a faulty card...Could that possibly be the problem or should i try flashing the video card bios and what one should i use if so?
